ESG Reporting

Sustainability-related topics are not only relevant from a compliance perspective, but are also becoming increasingly important in corporate financing. Within a broad social consensus to make business more ethically and ecologically sustainable, capital markets, from banks and insurance companies to private equity, are a key driver when it comes to ESG. The availability of capital of any kind is already linked to ESG compliance in many cases and will be increasingly so in the future. However, the issue of sustainability is also gradually coming to the attention of companies in operational terms, as sustainability-related information is increasingly being requested within the value chain. In the interests of companies and their owners, it is therefore more than advisable to proactively address the issue of sustainability and corresponding reporting.

With an eye for the essentials, we maneuver our clients unerringly through the broad range of ESG topics with their sometimes vague legal specifications. We support our clients from the initial introduction to ESG issues, through the identification of the data to be collected, to appropriate stakeholder communication. This includes the so-called materiality assessment, a structured data collection process and the analysis of specific relevant sustainability aspects with regard to their potential impact on the company and, finally, the preparation of a meaningful sustainability report.
